Today, Monday, the Israeli army issued a new warning to a number of Marjayoun districts in southern Lebanon, threatening not to guarantee the safety of the population as its military operations continue. The warning, which came through a recorded message spread on the communication sites, indicated that the Israeli army called on the residents to prevent the return of “strangers” to their villages, in reference to members of Hezbollah, according to what was stated in the message. The letter, described as “official”, threatened not to guarantee the safety of the population in the absence of response to these warnings, with the claim that Israeli military operations had continued in southern Lebanon. The letter also held the townspeople responsible for what is happening inside their areas, warning of “Hezbollah elements” infiltrating it, and stressing that the Israeli army will continue its operations in the south.
