He confirmed the existence of reliable information about a serious deterioration in their health conditions as a result of severe torture, including frequent beatings and deprivation of medical care, amid serious fears of being killed under torture in the prisons of the Israeli enemy and investigation centers. The Euro-Mediterranean called on the international community to take urgent and effective action to ensure the immediate and unconditional release of the two doctors, “Abu Safiya” and “Al-Hams”, and to protect their physical and psychological integrity.
