Washington announces the resumption of targeting Iran, and explosions Bandar Sirik

US Central Command announced in the early hours of Wednesday the commencement of a series of military strikes against Iran.

Central Command stated that the attacks came in response to what it accused Tehran of, namely targeting three commercial ships while transiting the Strait of Hormuz.

The American announcement came shortly after Iranian television broadcast news of several explosions heard in the coastal city of Sirik in southern Iran.

At the time of news, no Iranian reaction or statement has been issued regarding the nature of the Iranian response to this targeting.
