In Response to the Latest Aggression… A Large-Scale Operation by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Targets American Sites in Kuwait and Bahrain

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Wednesday the execution of a military operation targeting American military sites in the region, in response to recent American attacks targeting sites around the Strait of Hormuz in southern Iran.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated in a statement that its naval and air forces carried out joint operations with missiles and drones, targeting 85 American military sites.

The operations included the Fifth Fleet headquarters in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, affirming that the operation represents the “first phase” of the Iranian response.

In the same context, the Revolutionary Guard spokesman announced that Iranian air defenses shot down an American MQ-9 drone after it breached the airspace of Bushehr province in southern Iran.
