Iran Reveals Immediate Measures It Will Take in the Event of Renewed American Aggression

Iran revealed on Wednesday the outlines of its strategy to be adopted in the event of renewed American-Israeli aggression, following US President Donald Trump’s announcement of his repudiation and withdrawal from the memorandum of understanding to end the war, which he had signed with his American counterpart.

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

“Press TV” quoted an Iranian security source as confirming that Tehran has adopted a new strategy to respond to any attack targeting its territory or interests, including closing the Strait of Hormuz to maritime navigation and carrying out strikes against hostile targets.

The source stated that the developments of the past forty-eight hours have reinforced Iran’s resolve, indicating that a “new military and strategic doctrine” has come into effect.

He explained that the strategy stipulates taking two immediate actions following any strike against Iran: the first is the complete closure of the Strait of Hormuz to navigation, and the second is targeting at least two hostile targets for every Iranian target that is struck.

The source added that the memorandum of understanding stipulates the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz according to the arrangements set by Iran, affirming that Tehran will not allow the creation of any new navigation routes outside the framework of its own arrangements.
