The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs held the United States fully responsible on Wednesday for the repercussions of the recent escalation, considering that the American attack on the city of Sirik in southern Iran constitutes a violation of the United Nations Charter and the memorandum of understanding on ending the war.
Special Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The ministry stated in a statement that the American attacks represent a violation of the first article of the memorandum of understanding, which stipulates the cessation of military operations, adding that what it described as the violation of arrangements related to the Strait of Hormuz and the continued Israeli strikes in Lebanon have rendered the memorandum ineffective.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the Iranian armed forces “will not hesitate to defend the country’s sovereignty and will target the source of any American military aggression.”
Tehran’s Foreign Ministry called on “all countries to prevent the aggressor parties from using their lands to carry out aggressive actions against it,” warning that any cooperation with the United States in carrying out attacks against Iran will be considered “complicity and participation in the crime.”
