The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced today that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against the country has risen to 4,324 martyrs and 12,221 wounded since March 2nd.
In a statement, the ministry said that the cumulative toll of the aggression since March 2nd has reached 4,324 martyrs and 12,221 wounded.
On the ground, Israeli occupation forces carried out a large-scale bombing operation in the town of Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon, coinciding with artillery shelling of the town. Meanwhile, Israeli drones flew at low altitude over the capital, Beirut.
The Israeli army also advanced into the outskirts of the town of Barashit in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon, where it proceeded to detonate several houses. This coincided with an Israeli artillery shell landing in the Sadana area of the town of Kfarshouba in the south.
In this context, the Grand Serail’s Disaster Risk Management Unit revealed that the number of displaced persons in shelters has risen to 32,625 Lebanese citizens, and the number of displaced families to 8,361. The unit noted that 303 shelters remain operational.
The unit also reported that the death toll has risen to 4,324, while the number of wounded has reached 12,221.
It is worth noting that these developments on the ground come amidst intensive international and American efforts to solidify the framework agreement reached in Washington last month.
