The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that three Palestinians were killed and 22 wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of the ongoing Israeli military offensive. In its daily statistical report on Monday, the ministry stated that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, noting that ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them due to the continued bombardment and the dangerous conditions on the ground. According to the ministry’s statement, the death toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,283, with 173,864 wounded. The ministry also noted that since the resumption of military operations following the collapse of the ceasefire on October 11, the death toll has reached 1,158, with 3,756 wounded, in addition to 802 bodies recovered. Various areas of the Gaza Strip are witnessing continuous Israeli bombing and incursions, amid UN and international warnings of the ongoing deterioration in humanitarian and health conditions, in light of the severe shortage of medical supplies and fuel, the continued disruption of the work of many hospitals and health facilities, in addition to the difficulties faced by ambulance and civil defense crews in rescuing victims and reaching the targeted areas.
