4 New Ships Intercepted at Bab Al-Mandeb, Bringing the Total to 10 in Two Days

Yemeni forces continued on Wednesday implementing the decision to ban Saudi navigation.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Recent hours have recorded the interception of more ships linked to Saudi Arabia.

Reuters news agency quoted its sources as saying that four new ships changed their course on Wednesday after preparing to cross Bab Al-Mandeb.

The new ships raise the total since the Yemeni ban came into effect on Monday to 10 ships.

These developments reflect the ships’ compliance with the Yemeni warnings, which included threats of being targeted within their operational range, as no incidents have been recorded in the last 48 hours.

The first phase of the Yemeni ban remains limited to Saudi ships and those heading to Saudi ports.
