Satellite images have shown thick clouds of smoke covering wide areas of the city of Jizan in southern Saudi Arabia, due to fires burning at Aramco oil facilities a day after they were targeted by Sana’a forces, in response to the recent Saudi aggression on Hudaydah.

The images, published by the NASA Worldview application affiliated with the American space agency, show the extension of a dark smoke cloud over the city, reflecting the scale of the fires caused by Sana’a forces’ strikes on Aramco.
The Aramco facilities in Jizan that were targeted are among the most prominent oil refining and storage centers in Saudi Arabia, hosting a refinery with a production capacity of about 400,000 barrels per day.
Sana’a forces had announced yesterday the execution of two operations targeting Aramco facilities in Jizan and Yanbu with dozens of ballistic, winged missiles, and drones, in response to the continued Saudi aggression and siege, confirming direct hits.
