Saudi reprimand to Turkey following the “Houthi” double strike

Saudi Arabia reprimanded Turkey on Sunday following a double strike in Yemen.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman made a phone call to his Turkish counterpart Yasar Guler, the first of its kind in years.

Saudi media reported that the call discussed developing and enhancing defense cooperation.

Bin Salman’s call came on the eve of Yemen’s announcement of the downing of a Turkish “Bayraktar Akıncı” drone during its participation in the recent Saudi aggression on Yemen.

The drone is considered one of the most prominent military deals between Turkey and Saudi Arabia, and its downing, despite its significant capabilities, reflects Saudi disappointment with Turkish capabilities.
