Sana’a | A source in the ministry of defense exposes the failure of Saudi radars and warns: Riyadh must end the siege and pay the price

A military source in the Ministry of Defense stated that the statements issued by the Saudi Ministries of Defense and Foreign Affairs represent an attempt to cover up the failure of Saudi defense systems in detecting and intercepting Yemeni drones, affirming that those drones successfully carried out their missions and achieved their objectives.

The source explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that Yemen has exercised patience for years regarding the Saudi side’s violations during the de-escalation phase, calling on Saudi Arabia to respect Yemen’s sovereignty and independence and to bear the consequences of any violations it commits.

The source demanded an end to the siege by opening airports and ports, facilitating trade movement, releasing prisoners, and respecting Yemen’s right to benefit from its oil wealth to cover salaries and provide essential services.

Saudi Arabia had pointed the finger at Iraq for being targeted by drones in the eastern region and Riyadh, while Sana’a announced today, Monday, the execution of an offensive operation with a number of drones targeting sensitive targets and points for transporting crude oil from eastern Saudi Arabia to Yanbu port on the Red Sea.
