Drone Attack Targets American Gas Storage Facility in Egypt’s Damietta Port

The British maritime security company “Ambrey” announced on Wednesday that an American gas storage facility at Egypt’s Damietta Port was subjected to a drone attack.

Ambrey stated in a report that “at least one drone attacked a floating liquefied natural gas storage facility, owned and operated by an American company, at Egypt’s Damietta Port on the Mediterranean Sea.”

It added that preliminary information indicates the attack did not result in casualties or damage to the port’s infrastructure, while no party has claimed responsibility for the operation so far, and its circumstances and causes remain unknown.
