Sana’a forces announce targeting an Aramco facility in Jizan in response to airspace violations

Sana’a forces announced on Sunday the execution of a military operation targeting a refinery belonging to Aramco in Jizan with a drone, in response to Saudi aircraft violating the airspace of Sa’ada and Hajjah governorates.

Sana’a – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The spokesman for Sana’a forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, confirmed in a tweet on his Telegram account that the strike was precise.

The Saudi Ministry of Energy had announced the extinguishing of a fire that broke out in one of the facilities of the Jizan refinery.

The latest operation comes amid the siege-for-siege and escalation-for-escalation equation that Sana’a has been imposing on Riyadh since the latter bombed Sana’a Airport in mid-July.

Sana’a’s operations have included imposing a naval blockade on Saudi navigation, targeting oil facilities and Saudi tankers, in addition to forcing other ships to change course, coinciding with escalating confrontations with Saudi-loyal forces inside Yemen.
