Emirati confirmation of Saudis being targeted in Al-Mokha

The UAE confirmed on Sunday the death and injury of Saudi personnel during the Yemeni operation in the city of Al-Mokha, the former stronghold of its factions on Yemen’s western coast.

The Emirati channel “Sky News Arabia” quoted sources as confirming that those they describe as the “Houthis” targeted Saudi headquarters in Al-Mokha, hinting at casualties among them.

The Yemeni forces had earlier today announced the fall of a number of Saudis as a result of strikes targeting military mobilizations on Yemen’s western coast.

The Emirati confirmation—as a former partner of Saudi Arabia in its coalition in Yemen—confirms that the Yemeni strikes were indeed precise and targeted Saudi centers and operations rooms.

Saudi forces have been overseeing the Emirati factions since expelling the UAE, particularly Tareq’s forces, which declared their loyalty to Saudi Arabia following the Saudi campaign against the Transitional Council.
