The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Sunday that the death toll from the Israeli aggression against the country since March 2nd has risen to 4,346 martyrs and 12,301 wounded. This came after 11 people, including three children, were killed on Saturday in Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon, the highest daily toll since the signing of the framework agreement between Lebanon and Israel in late June. The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that the airstrike on the town of Ansar resulted in the martyrdom of seven people, including three children and two women. The ministry also reported that four people were killed and 17 others, including a child and 11 women, were wounded in another airstrike on Deir Zahrani. For its part, Hezbollah stated that the Lebanese authorities should not continue the humiliating path of direct negotiations with Israel, adding that Israel’s aggression and attempts to impose a fait accompli cannot continue and will be met with an appropriate response.
