The Sana’a Foreign Ministry warns Saudi Arabia against continuing escalation and calls on it to lift the siege

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Sana’a government warned Saudi Arabia today, Monday, against continuing its escalatory steps, affirming that any escalatory action will be met with a similar and direct response.

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The ministry stated in a statement that Yemen’s imposition of the “siege-for-siege” equation came in response to Riyadh’s reneging on its previous commitments and tightening the siege on the Yemeni people.

It added that the recent Saudi military mobilizations represent a direct threat to Yemen’s security and stability, prompting the Yemeni Armed Forces to deal with them, according to the statement.

Sana’a’s Foreign Ministry demanded the complete lifting of the siege, the cessation of military mobilizations, and enabling the Yemeni people to benefit from their national wealth.

It affirmed that the closest, safest, and least costly solution lies in Riyadh’s response to the demands that Sana’a describes as legitimate and leaving Yemenis to manage their own country’s affairs.
