Aerial and naval attacks renew in northern, southern, and western Yemen

A series of explosions rocked new areas in the south, west, and east of Yemen on Saturday, amid reports of aerial and naval attacks.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

In Aden, the temporary capital of the coalition-loyal government, powerful explosions were heard in Al-Maashiq Palace, the residence of the government and members of the Presidential Council.

The explosions coincided with media reports and eyewitness accounts of intensive drone flights and the activation of ground anti-aircraft defenses.

Al-Maashiq is one of several areas in Aden that have witnessed explosions in recent days, coinciding with Sana’a forces’ announcement of ground and naval operations in the east and west of the country.

It is not yet clear whether the operations in Aden are part of the Transitional Council’s program to expel the Saudi occupation or for Sana’a.

The explosions in Aden also coincided with reports of drone attacks targeting the Third Division Emergency camp in the Al-Abr area on Yemen’s eastern border.

Factions on the western coast led by Tareq Saleh also spoke of a new attack by explosive-laden boats targeting their naval base in Al-Mokha.

These attacks come as Yemeni operations against Saudi mobilizations continue. These areas had previously been subjected to Yemeni aerial and naval operations in recent days that scattered Saudi preparations for a new escalation.
