Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni
Informed sources reported that the attacks carried out by Sana’a forces targeting Saudi mobilizations in Marib, foremost the targeting of the Emergency Forces in the Al-Abr, Al-Ruwayk, and Al-Wade’a areas, have resulted in a sharp moral breakdown and the withdrawal of hundreds of fighters from those forces, despite the efforts of those forces’ leadership to raise morale and make promises of financial incentives.
The sources explained that the elements of these forces are experiencing a deep sense of security exposure and lack of the most basic protection elements, especially after the targeting earlier this month resulted in hundreds of casualties, in addition to the destruction of weapons warehouses and sensitive headquarters.
In the same context, these repercussions are not limited to the Saudi-backed forces in Marib but also include the forces affiliated with Tareq Saleh, which were likewise subjected to strikes targeting weapons warehouses and command headquarters, including secret locations.
This has led to an escalation of suspicion among the leadership, coinciding with Saudi Arabia launching official investigations regarding the continued work of some of these leaders with the UAE.
The same sources concluded by indicating that a number of military leaders within Tareq Saleh’s forces are having their movements placed under strict surveillance, along with the imposition of strict monitoring of their communications.
