Israeli airstrikes have resumed across the Gaza Strip since yesterday, resulting in deaths and injuries, according to the latest figures from the Gaza Ministry of Health.
A Palestinian was killed and others were injured on Wednesday when Israeli warplanes targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Ghaith camp in the al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sources reported that an Israeli drone targeted a tent housing displaced people inside the Ghaith camp, killing Ismail Muhammad al-Barim and injuring several others. Ambulance crews transported the dead and wounded to hospitals.
Meanwhile, Israeli military vehicles opened fire with machine guns towards the eastern areas of Hamad City, north of Khan Younis, wounding a Palestinian.
Israeli vehicles also fired on tents housing displaced people in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, coinciding with artillery shelling targeting the northern areas of the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
In Gaza City, Israeli tanks fired towards the eastern areas of the city.
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that seven people were killed and ten others wounded in the past 24 hours.
The ministry indicated that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire on October 11 has reached 1,303, with 4,336 wounded and 814 bodies recovered.
