The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Saturday that 10 martyrs and 18 wounded individuals arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 48 hours, including nine newly deceased and one whose body was recovered. The Ministry explained in a statement that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them. According to the Ministry, the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,313, while the number of injuries has reached 4,361, in addition to the recovery of 815 bodies. The Ministry indicated that the cumulative toll since the start of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, has reached 73,449 martyrs and 174,472 wounded. Ambulance and civil defense teams continue their efforts to reach the victims and recover the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble, amidst the ongoing difficulties of fieldwork and the lack of resources necessary to deal with the aftermath of the offensive.
