The death toll from Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon since March 2nd has risen to 4,353, with 12,323 wounded. The Ministry of Public Health’s Emergency Operations Center announced in a statement that “the total cumulative toll of the Israeli war from March 2nd to September 1st has reached 4,353 dead and 12,323 wounded.” It is worth noting that Israel launched a war on Lebanon on March 2nd, and Israeli forces occupied several towns in southern Lebanon. Israeli airstrikes continued to target wide areas in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon after the initial ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel on April 16th, which was subsequently extended on April 23rd for three weeks, and then again on May 15th for 45 days. A final ceasefire was announced on June 20th, after which the frequency of Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon decreased.
