America hints at resuming aggression after losing the first battle to break the blockade on Saudi Arabia

The US threatened on Tuesday to resume aggression on Iran, following its loss of the first naval battle to break the blockade on Saudi Arabia.

American media circulated statements by the US President and Department of Defense officials talking about arrangements for a military strike they described as “limited” to secure navigation.

The American preparations for tonight’s strike come despite the US President having previously preferred to maintain economic sanctions.

The acceleration of the new American aggression came following a fierce battle in Hormuz, where Iranian forces managed to thwart an American attempt to forcibly break the blockade on Saudi Arabia.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) confirmed incidents involving oil tankers and forces in the Arabian Sea, before it became clear that two Saudi oil tankers were attacked during their attempt to cross the southern passage with American escort, and that American forces were also attacked during their attempt to advance to secure the exit of the two tankers.

The two tankers – one named Cedar – were hit, carrying approximately 4 million barrels of oil.

The new incidents in Hormuz dismantled American propaganda about controlling the strait and re-imposing Iranian control, which has already negatively reflected on oil prices, which continued to rise above $90 per barrel for Brent crude.
