Two ships carrying Saudi oil targeted

Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Two giant tankers carrying Saudi oil shipments were attacked by unknown projectiles within minutes of each other while transiting the Strait of Hormuz heading outbound late Monday evening, according to the companies “Marisks” and “Kpler.”

The projectiles targeted the Saudi oil tanker “Sidr” at an estimated distance of 16.6 nautical miles northeast of the Omani city of Khasab, followed minutes later by the oil tanker “Senegal Prosperity,” which flies the Liberian flag and is operated by the South Korean company “Sinokor,” with the latter being hit by three projectiles at the same location.

In the same context, data showed that the two tankers had been loaded with two million barrels of Saudi crude oil from Al-Ju’aymah port during the past week.
