Saudi Arabia Reveals Escalating Fears of a “Houthi” Ground Invasion

Saudi Arabia revealed on Sunday escalating fears of the possibility of Yemeni forces transferring the battle to the depths of its territory by land. This coincides with the failure of its desperate attempts to ignite a new civil war in the country.

Exclusive – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The former advisor to the Saudi government, Nawaf Obaid, confirmed the possibility of the confrontation exploding between those he describes as the “Houthis” and his country, indicating in an article that it is approaching.

Obaid is one of several Saudi elites who have begun to talk about the possibility of ground confrontations with Yemen in light of the decision to ban Saudi navigation in the Red Sea.

The Saudi speculation about the possibility of a direct battle comes as Saudi Arabia purchases more American weapons, including tanks.

The US administration approved a weapons shipment worth about one billion dollars to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi moves came in the context of ground confrontations with Yemen, following the failure of its attempts to ignite a civil war in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has recently mobilized heavily for its loyal factions, but all its moves evaporated as Sana’a forces directed preemptive strikes by sea and land.

Saudi Arabia has been suffering for weeks since Yemen announced the ban on Saudi navigation.

The Yemeni forces have launched dozens of operations by sea and air since July 20. However, despite Saudi Arabia’s attempt to occupy Yemen with internal fronts, indicators of a ground battle with Saudi Arabia are beginning to take shape in light of the loss of the local card.
