Sounds of successive explosions in southern Saudi Arabia following a wide-scale missile and drone attack

Media sources reported hearing violent explosions that shook several areas in the south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, following a wide-scale attack carried out moments ago with missiles and drones.

The sources explained that the explosions were distributed over wide areas, including areas in Abha and Khamis Mushait in Asir province, in addition to sites in Jizan, indicating that the attack targeted a number of sensitive sites in the region.

No official statement or comment has been issued so far regarding the details of the attack and the nature of the targets by the authorities in Sana’a or Riyadh.

Observers believe that this wide-scale attack is likely carried out by Sana’a, especially as it comes just hours after the threats and confirmations issued by its leadership of the inevitable response to the Saudi crime targeting the Central Correctional Facility in Al-Jawf governorate, and the emphasis that this massacre against inmates and civilians cannot go without a deterrent punishment and making the Saudi regime pay the price.
