Saudi authorities acknowledged on Tuesday that the Kingdom’s oil facilities were subjected to a wide-scale attack by Sana’a forces, following Saudi Arabia’s recent escalation and its execution of raids in a number of Yemeni governorates.

The spokesman for the Saudi coalition, Turki Al-Maliki, admitted that the targeting hit oil facilities in “Abha, Jizan, Khamis Mushait, and Najran.”
For its part, the Saudi Ministry of Oil announced that a number of its oil facilities and installations were attacked and targeted by Sana’a forces.
Saudi media quoted a responsible source in the Saudi Ministry of Energy as stating that “a number of oil sector facilities and installations in the southern region of the Kingdom were targeted, and the competent authorities have begun dealing with them and taking the necessary measures.”
The source explained that the targeting caused fires to break out in a number of sites, leading to a temporary halt to some operational processes.
In turn, Sana’a forces announced an upcoming statement to declare operations in the Saudi depth in the coming hours.
