Israeli raids and bombings in southern Lebanon

On Tuesday, the Israeli army launched airstrikes, artillery shelling, and bombings in various areas of southern Lebanon, while its drones flew at low altitudes over Beirut and its southern suburbs.

These developments come amid an Israeli escalation over the past three days, which, as of Monday, had resulted in the deaths of 27 people and injuries to 69 others, including children, women, and paramedics, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.

In the latest developments in the Nabatieh Governorate, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that Israeli aircraft renewed their raids on the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, following an earlier strike targeting the Hay al-Hariq neighborhood.

The agency added that the Israeli army carried out a large explosion in the town of Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in the same governorate, without specifying the nature of the target. This coincided with Israeli drones flying at low altitudes over Beirut, reaching as far as its southern suburbs, according to the same source.
