Iran reveals details of a wide-scale attack targeting American bases and destroyers

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced today the execution of intensive missile strikes targeting the American Al-Azraq base in Jordan and two American destroyers, in a direct response to American attacks on Iranian oil tankers and ships.

The Revolutionary Guard explained in consecutive statements that the military operation was carried out using solid and liquid-fueled ballistic missiles, directly targeting maintenance, preparation, and deployment hangars for F-35, F-16, and F-15 fighter jets at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan, resulting in severe damage to them.

In the same field context, the Iranian attacks targeted the American destroyers “DDG-119” and “DDG-53,” which possess cruise missiles and the Aegis system. The Revolutionary Guard confirmed that they inflicted significant damage on them in response to American military practices against Iranian commercial ships.

On the field and future escalation front, the Revolutionary Guard issued a stern warning to the US about the consequences of any miscalculations, stressing that the Iranian armed forces are determined to firmly confront any new American moves.

The statement affirmed that this confrontation would continue and the battle will persist until what it described as the enemy’s aggressions cease.
