Brett Erickson: Ansar Allah possess the momentum and initiative, and Saudi Arabia faces catastrophic days

Exclusive Follow-ups – Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

The Managing Director of “Obsidian Risk Advisors,” specializing in global risk monitoring, Brett Erickson, confirmed that satellite images have verified that King Fahd Air Base was attacked by Ansar Allah, noting that reports of the attack came in during the past twenty-four hours, but it has now been confirmed with evidence.

Erickson said that what is happening increasingly reveals that Ansar Allah are the ones who possess the initiative and momentum at present, affirming that things are going very wrong for Saudi Arabia and the US at the moment.

Speaking about Ansar Allah’s ability to continue the confrontation, Erickson said he believes many people do not truly understand the Ansar Allah mentality, adding: “Well, the Saudis have American military equipment. Yes… and Ansar Allah have sandals and determination.”

He continued: “You can crush a people, but if that people has real determination, pride, and a goal… they will harden,” affirming that Saudi Arabia can’t deal with that, nor can the US.

In a related context, Erickson noted that Saudi Arabia has issued a new alert from Khamis Mushait regarding potential airstrikes, pointing out that this specific area receives alerts several times a day.

He said that “Saudi Arabia is being soundly defeated by Ansar Allah,” adding sarcastically: “All those fancy clothes, and the Kingdom can do nothing with them.”

Erickson also confirmed that circulating images on the ground indicate smoke rising from Yanbu, and that satellite images appear to support the claim that Ansar Allah have struck something in Yanbu.

He added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has witnessed over the past 72 hours “a catastrophe in every sense of the word so far,” explaining that the Ansar Allah group has effectively controlled the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait where it is imposing a blockade on Saudi shipments, in addition to the East-West pipeline sustaining severe damage at a main pumping station, causing the pipeline to halt operation for an indefinite period, before the Kingdom witnessed more Ansar Allah attacks on Yanbu.
