Military sources in the Saudi-backed Emergency Forces reported that about 155 soldiers and officers were killed and wounded in an attack carried out by Sana’a forces on Wednesday evening, targeting a training camp for the First Brigade of the Sixth Emergency Division and other gatherings in a camp belonging to the Second Brigade of the same division, along with Saudi command centers and gatherings of Sudanese forces that Riyadh hires to fight on the border.
According to the sources, among the dead and wounded are about 20 Saudi officers and 12 Sudanese.
According to the sources, Saudi Arabia imposed a cordon around the targeted sites and prevented soldiers from approaching them, for fear that their morale would be affected by the large numbers of dead and wounded.
