Sky News Arabia: 98 Killed Among Saudi-Backed Forces in Sana’a Strikes

The Emirati channel “Sky News Arabia” reported on Thursday that 98 officers and soldiers were killed among Saudi-backed forces as a result of missile strikes carried out by Sana’a forces in the Al-Tuwal areas of Jizan and Taiz during the past 24 hours.

The channel explained in its report that the announced toll is limited to the dead only, without the wounded.

It indicated that the strikes targeted sites and camps of Saudi-backed forces.

Sana’a forces had announced today, Thursday, the execution of a wide-scale operation targeting Saudi military mobilizations in the Al-Tuwal area of Jizan, using dozens of ballistic missiles and drones.

Sana’a forces affirmed in a statement that “the operation targeted operations and command and control rooms, weapons depots, and other military sites, in addition to missile launch sites and platforms in the Al-Daghareer camp and several Saudi camps in the Jizan area.”

It indicated that the operation resulted in the death and injury of hundreds of elements, including Yemenis and Sudanese, along with the death and injury of a number of Saudi officers and soldiers, as well as the destruction and burning of a number of weapons depots.
