Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on several towns and villages in southern Lebanon, in a new escalation targeting infrastructure and residential areas.
The Israeli airstrikes targeted the area between the towns of Haris and Hadatha in the Bint Jbeil district, coinciding with massive and intense Israeli bombings on the outskirts of the towns of Baraachit and Beit Yahoun. The wave of bombings and airstrikes also included the towns of Mansouri, Tayri, and Ainatha, near Qounine, Hadatha, Majdal Zoun, and Zawtar al-Sharqiya.
An Israeli airstrike also hit the Hammam area in the town of Khiam, targeting a building that had been destroyed in a previous airstrike days earlier. The town of Mays al-Jabal was also subjected to another airstrike.
