A field report by the “Sky News” network confirmed that there are no security fears among the cargo ships that cross the strategic Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, after the Sana’a forces took control of the coasts overlooking the strait.
Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
This came in a report prepared by the network’s correspondent, Alex Crawford, who visited the strait and accompanied the Saudi-backed forces in areas close to the lines of contact between them and Sana’a in Lahj.
The “Sky News” correspondent directed a question to the crew of a Kuwaiti cargo ship after it crossed the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait, about “whether they are worried about crossing the Bab al-Mandab Strait?” and the answer came from one of the sailors: “No, things are fine so far. There is no problem.”
The report noted that those it describes as the Houthi rebels affirm that they only reject the passage of ships coming from Saudi Arabia, which they hold responsible for the stifling siege on their lands.

The report also shed light on the situation of the Saudi-backed forces on the lines of fighting with the Sana’a forces, noting that they are desperately trying to repel the advance of the Sana’a forces and stabilize their control over the “Kahbub” mountain range that overlooks and secures the strategic Bab Al-Mandeb Strait.
It noted that the forces loyal to Saudi Arabia are living in a state of confusion and suffering from weak armament, and it also conveyed testimonies from some of their members about their surprise at the tactics and weapons that the Sana’a forces used during their battle to control the coast.
