The Yemeni Armed Forces announced on Sunday the carrying out of four qualitative military operations that hit the depth of the vital and economic facilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, along with striking military gatherings on the western coast, in response to the expansion of the scope of the Saudi airstrikes that reached 124 airstrikes during the past 24 hours, and whose total reached 2,058 airstrikes since the start of the latest round of escalation.
Sana’a — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The details of the four military operations, which were carried out using the drone air force and the missile force with ballistic and cruise missiles, came as follows:
A complete closure of King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, where the vital aerial facility in the Saudi capital was targeted through three successive phases that began since the evening of the day before yesterday, and the successive strikes resulted in the complete disruption of air navigation movement in it and its complete closure.
The statement of the spokesman for the Yemeni forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, reported that the Shaqdam gas station (Aramco) was struck, where the targeting hit the station affiliated with the Aramco company in the Eastern Region with precise missile strikes, which led to the outbreak of huge fires and damage to wide parts of the facility.
He noted the targeting of the Tanajib oil plant (Aramco), where the plant located in the Eastern Region was subjected to a direct and precise attack with drones and cruise missiles that resulted in the outbreak of fires in its operational corridors.
He added that their forces carried out another operation that resulted in the disruption of King Fahd Airport in Dammam, where the airport was subjected to a direct targeting that led to the disruption of direct operations and the paralysis of air navigation movement in it.
On the field level, in parallel with striking the depth, Brigadier General Yahya Saree affirmed that the missile force and the drone air force targeted Saudi military mobilizations in the Ras Al-Arah and Al-Suqya areas using six ballistic missiles and two loitering aircraft, achieving direct hits that resulted in the fall of dozens of dead and wounded among their ranks.
The military statement of Sana’a also revealed the confrontation by the air defense systems of a number of Saudi war formations over the areas of confrontation using locally made surface-to-air missiles, which forced the Saudi fighter jets to flee and retreat.
The Yemeni Armed Forces repeated their warning to all international companies, travelers, and labor against approaching or using Saudi airspace and airports as they have become a live theater for military operations and unsafe (with the exception of Mecca and Medina airports), affirming the continuation of consolidating the equation of “airport for airport and siege for siege” until the siege is broken and the war on Yemen is stopped.
