Following Sana’a’s Warnings… SriLankan Airlines Suspends Its Direct Flights to Riyadh

SriLankan Airlines announced on Sunday the suspension of all its direct flights between the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and the Sri Lankan capital, Colombo, until the 18th of this current October.

The decision comes amid disruptions witnessed in aviation movement to Saudi Arabia, with a number of airlines announcing the suspension or cancellation of their flights as a result of the Sana’a forces’ warnings to airlines to avoid Saudi airspace.

The Sana’a forces had announced their closure of King Khalid in the capital Riyadh through successive operations from yesterday, Saturday, until today, Sunday.

Affirming the continuation of their operations within the “equation of siege for siege” until Saudi Arabia ends its siege on Yemen.
