Units of the Giants Evacuate Their Positions on the Coastal Line in Al-Mandeb

The southern Giants factions began on Monday evacuating their positions on the coastal line linking Lahj and Bab Al-Mandeb. This coincides with the accelerating advance of the Sana’a forces in the most important coastal districts of Lahj.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Tribal sources in Lahj reported that crews and armored vehicles belonging to the Giants were seen withdrawing toward Aden, affirming the evacuation of their positions on the coastal line linking Lahj Governorate and the Taiz coast.

The sources explained that many of the Giants’ points that were deployed in Al-Mudaribah and Ras Al-Arah to secure the supply line to the forces advancing south of Al-Mandeb have become completely empty.

The behind-the-scenes of what is happening has not yet become clear.

The Sana’a forces had achieved during the recent hours a wide advance in Al-Mudaribah District, which serves as the rear of the forces advancing in Al-Mandeb.

Sana’a currently controls the two mountains of Hawab and Harouz overlooking the coastal line.

The sudden evacuation of the Giants forces tasked with securing the coastal line indicates that they have received information about the proximity of the “Houthis” to tightening control over the important coastal line near Al-Mandeb.
