The Houthis Approach Al-Arous Peak in Taiz with the Completion of Reconciliation in Sabir

The Sana’a forces expanded on Monday their deployment in Sabir District overlooking Taiz city.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Local sources in Sabir reported that the forces are currently approaching Al-Arous Peak, the most prominent mountain overlooking the center of Taiz city from the west.

The Sana’a forces had entered important areas in Sabir, most notably Sanamat, Hasban, and Al-Hana.

The sources explained that an agreement took place between Sana’a and the social figures in those areas.

The district is witnessing, according to the sources, a wide reconciliation between the people of the area to avoid any confrontations.

Earlier, the member of the Sana’a Shura Council, Abdulaziz Al-Rumaimah, launched a call to the people of the Mashra’ah and Hadnan area, the last areas of Sabir in Taiz city, including opening a new page and a pledge not to take revenge.

Securing Sabir District opens the way toward the center of Taiz city, the last areas of the Saudi-loyal factions led by Islah.

The Sana’a forces had succeeded during the past days in securing the districts of the southwestern countryside of Taiz, within the plan to expel the mobilizations from western Yemen.
