Iran Announces the Targeting of a Third Oil Tanker in the Strait of Hormuz

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced on Monday the targeting of a giant oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, due to its violation of the passage instructions.

Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

According to the Guard’s navy, “fire broke out in the tanker,” noting that it is the third tanker to be subjected to targeting during the past two days.

The Guard’s navy explained that the tanker turned off the navigation system and ignored the warnings, in an attempt to cross through the strait, accusing it of disrupting the order and security in the region.

The Guard’s navy also warned that any cooperation between commercial ships and oil tankers on the one hand, and the American army on the other hand, in the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf region, will face a decisive response.
