The Ministry of Social Development in Gaza: – Approximately 300,000 families are at risk of flooding as winter approaches, and we warn of a humanitarian catastrophe. – 90% of tents are dilapidated and uninhabitable, and 85% of housing units are completely or partially damaged. – International organizations’ emergency tent stocks have run out, and the funding shortfall for the shelter sector has reached $186.7 million. – We demand the immediate delivery of 200,000 tents and 300,000 shelter kits.
