The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that two people, including a child, were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the town of Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon. This attack is part of the ongoing military escalation in the country’s southern regions. Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes intensified their raids on towns in the Tyre and Bint Jbeil districts, specifically in the western and central sectors. Three airstrikes targeted the town of Mansouri, and a fourth targeted Wadi Zibqin in the Tyre district.
These airstrikes coincided with heavy Israeli artillery shelling that struck the towns of Baraachit, Haddatha, and the outskirts of Haris. The artillery also targeted the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, as well as the areas surrounding the towns of Zibqin, Shaqra, and Haddatha.
Mock Raids and Flares in the Skies of Southern Lebanon
Israeli warplanes also conducted several mock raids over the city of Tyre and surrounding villages, and dropped flares over the towns of Mansouri and Beit al-Sayyad, south of Tyre. It is reported that the bombing caused material damage to a number of homes and properties, while a limited displacement movement was recorded from the targeted areas towards safer towns.
