The “Reuters” agency reported that the Saudi Aramco company asked its employees to evacuate its main headquarters in the city of Dhahran and work from home, after it was targeted by the Sana’a forces.
Exclusive Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
Satellite images had confirmed that the company’s building in Dhahran was subjected to destruction after being targeted by the missiles of the Sana’a forces, while the latter continues its operations targeting the company’s oil facilities in several sites in the Kingdom.
The “Aramco” headquarters in Dhahran represents one of the most important administrative centers for the oil sector at the global level, as it includes the most important administrative offices in the company, which makes the evacuation decision an indication of the escalation of security fears inside the Kingdom.
This comes at a time when oil prices have exceeded 112 dollars per barrel, oil exports via the port of Yanbu have halted, and the “East-West” pipeline has been disrupted, amid expectations of a contraction of the Saudi gross domestic product by 3.6% in 2026.
