The Tribes of Al-Alimi and Al-Barakani Mobilize with the Houthis

The Al-Hujariyah tribes directed on Saturday a strong slap to Rashad Al-Alimi, the head of the Saudi-loyal Presidential Council in southern Yemen.

Exclusive — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:

Thousands of the sons of the tribes, foremost among them the Al-Mawasit tribes, which is considered the birthplace of Al-Alimi, as well as Al-Ma’afir, the birthplace of Sultan Al-Barakani, the head of the coalition’s parliament, participated in a new tribal “Nakf,” during which they announced general mobilization to liberate the cities of Jizan, Najran, and Asir, which have been under Saudi control for decades.

Local media outlets broadcast video clips of a tribal gathering in the recently liberated southwestern countryside of Taiz.

The footage shows crowds of the sons of the tribes of Sami’, Al-Silw, Al-Mawasit, Khadeer, and Al-Ma’afir who participated in an expanded meeting in the Taiz countryside denouncing the Saudi aggression on Yemen and demanding its expulsion.

The stand is considered the first in more than a decade, as those areas had remained under the control of the Saudi-loyal factions.

The “Nakf,” in terms of timing, is considered a declaration of disavowal of the Saudi-loyal leaders.
