Follow-ups — Al-Khabar Al-Yemeni:
The Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Ali Abdullahi, affirmed that “the Iranian Armed Forces are monitoring the enemy’s movements and preparations,” and are working to update the target bank, warning that “any indicators of a hostile act will be met with an immediate response without waiting for the start of the attack.”
Abdullahi said in a press statement that the Armed Forces are monitoring the enemy’s movements with all their intelligence capabilities and are working to update the target bank, noting that whenever indicators of any hostile act appear, the Iranian forces will not wait for the start of the attack to determine the timing and manner of the response.
The Iranian Chief of Staff stressed that the response will be “immediate, effective, and without geographic restrictions,” in reference to Tehran’s readiness to expand the scope of the confrontation in the event it is subjected to any aggression.
For his part, the member of the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, Ismail Kowsari, affirmed that the nature and circumstances of the Iranian response to any potential move by the enemy will not be as they were before.
Kowsari explained that the scope of the Iranian responses will extend beyond Iran’s borders, to include the entire region, in a warning of the repercussions of any new military confrontation at the regional level.
