The Israeli army killed five Palestinians and wounded 19 others, including children, in attacks on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Monday. Two other Palestinians succumbed to wounds sustained in previous attacks, in what appear to be ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The Israeli attacks targeted Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, al-Masdar village in the central Gaza Strip, and Gaza City in the north. They included the bombing of a vehicle and a school sheltering displaced people, as well as gunfire, artillery shelling, and the demolition of homes.
This comes despite the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip having been in effect since October 10, 2015.
