A large crowd of citizens in Taiz city organized a protest stand, on Saturday, condemning the silence of Hadi’s government towards the economic worsening.
The protesters called for the “Hadi’s government” to quickly develop solutions to stop the economic deterioration that exacerbated their daily suffering, denouncing the suspicious government silence regarding the fall of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies.
During the vigil, the protesters raised banners denouncing the rampant corruption in all offices of the Saudi-backed government and the looting of Yemeni wealth.
It is noteworthy that the Yemeni riyal has rapidly deteriorated in the provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition.
