Yemenis Banned from Entering Saudi Territories for Three Months

Saudi authorities set new conditions for Yemenis to enter their territory and returned hundreds of passengers from the al-Wadea land crossing despite receiving a corona vaccine dose.

Travelers said the Saudi side had informed them to obtain a second dose of vaccine as a condition for entering their land.

Health sources said that the period for obtaining a second dose for Coronavirus (COVID-19) is eight weeks to 12 weeks (two months – three months), which means that Yemeni expatriates and travelers will not be able to enter Saudi Arabia before this period.

Yemeni expatriates can get the second dose in Saudi Arabia, and the decision will harm many expatriates because of their absence from their jobs and the inability to renew residence permits, the sources said.
