Military protesters blocked the main road in Lahj province, southern Yemen, on Sunday, local source reported.
The sources confirmed that soldiers affiliated with the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) cut the main road in the city of Lahj in protest against the non-payment of their financial dues before Eid al-Adha.
The demonstrating soldiers follow the “Fourth Military Region” and accuse the region’s commander of not paying their dues, the sources added.
