Al-Houthi Describes Doubling Customs Fees as a New Crime to Starve Yemenis

Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC), the highest ruling authority in Sana’a, commented on a decision issued by Saudi-led coalition in doubling Aden Customs Fees by 100%.

Al-Houthi said on Twitter this decision is a new crime committed by the coalition countries and their allies to starve the Yemeni people and raise prices, especially against the sons of the “occupied” southern provinces.

He went to say, “They are killing the Yemeni people because of their seizure of the ports.”

Al-Houthi called on all merchants to refuse the supply to the ports controlled by the coalition for the citizen is not charged with the increase of the prices.
