The head of Supreme Medical Committee, Mutahar Al-Darwish, stated that World Health Organization decided to cancel the air medical bridge through Sana’a International Airport.
In a statement to Almasirah, Al-Darwish said that a year after the announcement of the suspension of the air medical bridge and the registration of thousands of cases, the World Health Organization informs us of the cancellation of Sana’a International Airport air medical bridge.
He stated that World Health Organization attributed the decision to cancel the medical air bridge to what it called the financial conditions experienced by United Nations organization
” There are approximately ten thousand who died out of the 35 thousand cases that were registered during the suspended period,” he added.
